Tantra teaches us
about our
potential as sexual Energy-Beings. Our native Celtic
tradition teaches about the relations between the human, natural, and
magical worlds. Celtic Tantra
brings together these two complementary traditions, the one kind
of wisdom developed in the East, the other in the West. |

|
We launched Tantra Laboratory in 2000, when we began organizing tantra workshops for John Hawken. Over the next few years, we also
began developing our own way of working in the Celtic tradition at Hazel
Hill Wood. We call the fusion between the two "Celtic Tantra." |
|
Our workshops
are a blend of
meditation, dance, breathing, voicework, bodywork, massage, the creative therapies and the
classic rituals of tantra. But
in all our work we also connect with the natural world, rediscovering
its many voices, and
expanding our awareness to absorb its healing energy, listen to its wisdom, and
to learn to dance our human, sexual dance embraced by its otherness. |
| As Celtic Tantra, we run three kinds of workshop. |
|
Our
Celtic Tantra
Awakenings
workshops invite you to step into the world of energy to experience
its transformative power. These workshops introduce the
fundamentals on which all our work is based. |
|
Our
Celtic Tantra
Couples' workshops reflect our own experience of what the practice of tantra has brought to our thirty year journey
together as lovers, partners, healers, parents and friends. The
emphasis in these workshops is on how to bring the quality of
celebration into our daily life together, to meet our partners at every
level -- Sex, heart and spirit -- honouring in each other the qualities
of the Goddess and the Green Man. |

Our eight Celtic Tantra
Celtic
Year
workshops at Hazel Hill Wood explore the eight Gateways in the cycle of
theCeltic year. In these workshops, we stalk the quality of what
this gateway mirrors for us at this meeting place at
this particular point in the year. Here we learn nourish our human sexual energy and
attune ourselves to the natural energy of the
season.
From Samhain (Halloween) in the autumn, to Lammas (Lughnasadh) in the depth of summer,
these workshops celebrate and support a growing Celtic Tantra community. |
